Amelia Earhart is Not Dead

Amelia Earhart is Not Dead is documentation of our process to bring our new friend, Amelia Earhart, back to society. Our country thought they had lost this aviation legend but turns out she’s been living in Nevada this whole time. We met her at a bar in Reno, NV and took it upon ourselves to bring her back. She informed us about what had happened to her and we have created a scientific approach to how we are reintroducing her to society. Here is the history of the events that took place after her “disappearance”, as well as photo documentation of our first night out together. Aspects of social interactions we were exploring with her ranged from interacting with members of the opposite sex to technology to contemporary fashion. We will post the video documentation shortly.

Earhart successfully landed on Howland Island in 1937. The U.S.S. Itasca was waiting and conscripted her to help them fight the Nazis. Her identity was erased and the world thought she was dead. She changed her name to Lt. Col. Kinner Hawk. She was sent directly to Hawthorne, Nevada to be a military consultant. Her airplane, the Lockhead Electra, was hidden in one of the many bunkers scattered around Hawthorne and is still there today. She began a relationship with alcohol because she was forced to do things that were against her moral ethics. It was too much because it was a sexist, male dominated environment, very much an old-boys club and they wouldn’t let her fly. She was isolated and cut off from society because they didn’t want people to know that she was still around and this is what led her to lose all her social graces. As time went on her expertise became outdated and she was needed less and less which contributed to her current mental state.
